A short history
The parish has its roots in the Diocesan Travelling Mission, which brought Mass to Duston from Northampton in the 1930s. A weekly Mass was established in 1940, and in 1941 Duston was designated a Mass Centre. The first brick church, built on Peveril Road, opened on 26 April 1953 and held around 200 people. The present church was dedicated on 27 May 1994.

How the parish is governed
St Patrick's is a parish of the Diocese of Northampton, led by the Bishop of Northampton. The parish is administered by the parish priest with the support of a Parish Pastoral Council and a Finance Committee, both made up of volunteer parishioners.
Getting involved
